The first half of China's textile industry steady growth trend!

In the first half of this year, the supply and demand of China's textile industry continued to grow steadily at both ends, and the efficiency level continued to improve.

In terms of production, from January to May, the industrial added value of enterprises above designated size in the textile industry increased by 4.8% year-on-year, and the industrial added value of the main links of the textile industry chain continued to grow in a positive trend, among which the industrial added value of chemical fiber, wool textile, filament weaving and other sub-industries achieved double-digit growth year-on-year. In terms of exports, from January to May, China's textile and garment exports totaled 115.84 billion US dollars, an increase of 1.4%, of which textile and garment exports to the United States, Mexico, and countries jointly building the "Belt and Road" achieved positive growth. In terms of enterprise benefits, the operating income of the whole textile industry chain has achieved positive growth year-on-year, and the total profit of 80% of the sub-industries such as chemical fiber, wool textile, printing and dyeing, and industrial textiles has maintained a rapid growth level of more than double digits.
